Scope of Eligibility

Description
Under supervision, types and also performs routine, repetitive, clerical work of a varied nature; does other related duties as required.
Specific to the Position
Types simple and technical correspondence, receive and log in incidents, prepares and keeps records, gives information according to Department regulations by telephone, answers the telephone and takes messages accurately, maintains essential records and files.
Preferred Skill Set
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Ability to work independently or as part of a team and gather information from multiple sources. Knowledge of the Program's rules and regulations and GIS skills are not required, but helpful. Customer service as it relates to responding to inquiries from the public.
Requirements
LICENSE: Appointee will be required to possess a driver’s license valid in New Jersey if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
