Scope of Eligibility
Open to permanent employees in a competitive title who work for the Department and meet the requirements below.

Description
Under the supervision of a supervisory official, assists in the review and analysis of all inventory systems, surveys document flow and control, and on inventory systems and practices; does other related work duties as required.

Specific to the Position
The incumbent will assist in procurement and receiving of materials at a warehouse/distribution facility which supplies OSHA approved personal protective equipment and related environmental sampling equipment and supplies for NJDEP field personnel. The job requires a detailed oriented, computer literate person with the ability to provide excellent customer service as part of our team.

Preferred Skillset
Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, warehousing, inventory, NJ Right to Know law, and computerized inventory management systems is highly desired. Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as individually.

Requirements
EXPERIENCE

Three (3) years of experience in implementing an inventory control system, including processing, storing, shipping, and receiving, and documentation.

License

Appointees will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

Residency
